Racket Buying

Which one is right?

Your child has just told you that they would like to try tennis for the first time. Or perhaps they are already playing regularly and are becoming more advanced. Whether your son or daughter is a beginner or an ambitious junior, you naturally want to make sure they are playing with the right racquet. We’re here to help.

Who should have a racket?

At Tennislessons4u we always have a range of rackets your child can borrow, however there is nothing like getting your first or a new racket. I still remember mine, a Hammer 96 for Christmas when I was 8 (and I still have it today). Buying the correct size is essential, and this guide will help you and show you a range of options from budget to advanced.

First up is size - generally rackets sizes are based on ages but if you are not sure please ask your coach.

Our racket recommendations...

I personally think Sports Direct offer the largest and widest option of rackets and regularly have lots of sizes in stock, so check your size above and get browsing. If you would rather buy online check the options below.
