As the colder months approach, it is going to be key to keep warm during your tennis sessions! Because as we all know, tennis is an all-year round sport...
Here are a few easy things you can do:
1. Dress in Layers: You may see Coach Nick in shorts, however don't be fooled! Extra layers is key to keeping toasty - this means a thermal layer with a waterproof/warm layer on top is essential.
2. Warm Up - Our coaching team will run longer warm-ups when it is cold, however turn up early and get running around the court! Keep moving to keep warm.
3. Gloves + Hats: These 2 items are key! A warm head and fingers helps your whole body stay warm. We recommend grippy gloves you can purchase from most sports shops.
Our coaches will be adapting sessions to keep you all moving for longer! If we think the courts are unsafe we will reschedule.
We look forward to continuing our sessions throughout the winter (reminder we stop on the 20th December and back on the 4th January).
